Our Divine Mission
ISKCON Burla was established in 2008 as branch of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) founded by Jagat Guru Srila Prabhupada with the divine purpose of cultivating spiritual growth and spreading Krishna consciousness throughout Western Odisha. Our temple serves as a beacon of peace and wisdom in the community.
Our approach to preaching is guided by His Holiness Bhakti Svarup Damodar Swami Maharaj, emphasizing a scientific presentation of spiritual knowledge, with a special focus on inspiring and educating the youth.
Our Journey
Foundation
ISKCON Burla was officially established with a small group of devotees conducting and spreading Krishna consciousness in Burla.
Spreading the Mission
Regular Sunday feasts, Bhagavad-gita classes, kirtan programs, and student preaching began to blossom. The temple began attracting devotees, students, and families alike – all drawn by the love and joy of Krishna consciousness.
Youth & Campus Outreach
Our journey reached the youth through vibrant college programs, spiritual discussions, and interactive sessions rooted in the Bhagavad-gita. Many students embraced Krishna consciousness, forming a strong spiritual community on and around campuses.
Community Expansion
